in bloom

For all I love the machair on Tiree, there were remarkably few flower species.  Derbyshire provided much more diversity.

There were others too, but I didn’t get good pictures.

Name that flower, please, botanists!

Top row from left: orchid of some kind?, apple blossom, clover, buttercup

2nd row: bird’s foot trefoil, foxglove, pignut, red campion

3rd row: bramble, forget-me-not, ?, dandelion

bottom row: dandelion, pyramidal orchid, ? with added bee, ladysmock
