September song

Early morning mist, clearing to brilliant blue skies.

Dropping children off in the playground (did I ever mention how much I relish this one day a week I get to do that?)

A morning spent wandering up Cracken Edge.

Picking a couple of pounds of blackberries (stashed in the freezer, in readiness for a day when I need crumble and memories…)

Lunch with a book on top of South Head.

An hour with Big Girl arranging photos in an album.

An evening of photography at the Scout Hut.

There’s nothing to touch a perfect Autumn day (well, you know, except possibly winter, spring, summer…)
