gifts from the sea

We drove out of a very wet Derbyshire morning into a bright blustery Autumn afternoon in County Durham. The afternoon was spent beachcombing for the great and glorious cause of Our Art Coursework. I left a little bit of my stony old heart behind in the north east twenty years ago, and I’m always glad to be back gazing out over the chilly North Sea.

Playing with our treasures kept us amused all evening.

  1. Nice! They look lovely indeed! Its always nice to get away from all the stressful things and just head to the beach. You can even get some treasures like sea glasses if your lucky. http://www.seaglass.us/

  2. There is something about the North East, it calls out to us. I don’t know why but it does.

For you, for PSD, for her cousin. For H, For me. We are drawn to that far away kingdom, and we never really leave.
