our day off

Small Girl and I are ecstatic, because we have a day off tomorrow while the other two have to go to school (I think this is the first time ever- they have many more days off than us).

I told her she could choose what we do, but all the poor child can think of that she wants to do is sleep. November is such hard work.

Tonight I am feeling very fortunate, because I realised that savings accounts are sometimes there to be spent, and bought four tickets to Orkney. Woohoo!

  1. Have a splendid day. I’m jealous and bleary eyed as I try to struggle into my clothes.
