Welcome back to the Christmas Market, 2014 edition. Big daughter and I are selling a few choice handmade items to fund our respective travel habits (she wants to get to Venice next summer, I’ll be heading for a Scottish island).
Baubles, each one individually handpainted with unique winter scenes. These are so delightful that I’ve commissioned a set for my own Christmas tree. £5 each
Felt owls, hand-embroidered and embellished with a bit of sparkle. £5 each, can be made to order in your choice of colours.
Wooden stars, handpainted in Scandinavian style. Set of 3 (one each of small, medium, large) costs £6, in red, blue or green.
Anyone fancy some fairisle baubles? Can be knitted to order. Shown in a traditional red or white snowflake pattern, or get creative with your colour and pattern choices. £5.
A parliament of knitted owls. £4 each, or 3 for £10 if you’d like a family. They’re watching you with their little buttony eyes…
Leave a comment if you’d like to buy anything, and I’ll be in touch. All items can be posted at cost (although I suspect the winter baubles would be relatively pricey because of their diameter, and Royal Mail’s bizarre pricing policies).
If you’re interested in a custom made piece of knitwear, or original art, there’s still time to get in touch with requests.
I’m also considering a limited run of puffins, and stag’s heads, if anyone’s interested. Because nothing truly says Christmas like bizarre knitted objects…
